Many individuals do not realize that Alcoholic Lung Disease is a medical condition that may be experienced when a person consumes excessive amounts of alcohol over an extended period of time, much less understand the physiological aspects of the condition. Historically, it has been established that beverages containing alcohol may have a detrimental effect on the lungs as many have developed infections in the lungs as a direct result of consumption. In recent years, many studies pertaining the effect of this substance effects on the lungs.
